Reflections from Summer & Growing Communities of ResistanceAs summer winds to a close, we feel grateful to our extended community that gathered through the summer months, bringing diverse perspectives from the front lines of the resistance across the region and around the world. We are pleased to be able to offer opportunities for rest and restoration, as well as inspiration and connection, grounded in community and nature. As we move into the fall, we welcome retreat groups and continue to foster and support resistance and learning in our local community, including a montj-long teach-in/film screening series to lay the foundation for collective action around Gaza. We will also continue our community conversations on growing intergenerational resistance online to support our extended community with two virtual conversations in October. In community, in solidarity, in resistance! Learn about World Fellowship’s unique history & missionFor 83+ years, progressive activists have found a home away from home at World Fellowship Center, originally founded in 1941 as a physical home for an interfaith movement fostering peace through intercultural, interracial, and interreligious understanding and with a bold vision for global governance as a pathway to peace during the horrors of World War II. Over the years, we have grown into a secular organization, with great respect for the role that faith and humanist philosophies have for many in grounding their commitment to social justice, and we have offered a safe haven at different moments in history for persecuted radicals during the McCarthy era, and for interracial, same-sex, and other non-traditional families to come together to appreciate nature and learn through exchange and a continuous process of “life as dialogue” as the basis for a secular form of “fellowship” across diversity. Through our educational and recreational programs, we bring people into nature, offer space for reflection and learning, building mutual understanding and refreshing individual and movement efforts toward social justice and progressive activism. These practices continued in the Summer 2025, with weekly community conversations about growing the resistance, workshops on protest songs and starting a leftist marching band, and in-depth trainings on civil disobedience and other skills training that is part of the Summer Social Justice Insitute, as well as programs on defending immigrant rights in 2025, right to education, countering rising authoritarianism, etc. During the fall, winter, and spring, we continue to offer retreat space for social movements and other gatherings, while supporting our broader community through online programs and occasional in-person gatherings/events in NH and elsewhere where WFC community members live year-round.Plan your visit to World Fellowship & see how to get involved!VOLUNTEER: Want to spend a few weeks, a month or the whole summer at World Fellowship? This webpage contains over 500 words of content.
Because search engines crawl and index content, and the more content that a webpage has the greater potential for the page to rank for multiple keywords, webpages should contain a good amount of content with more than 500 words being a good benchmark for a regular page, and 1,000 words for blog posts.
The content should be rich with quality, original content - not containing "fluff" just to fill up the space. Having more content will also likely help the page to rank better for search queries as well as rank for more search queries.

0% of the images on this webpage contain alternate text description tags.
Alternate text descriptions for images allow visually impaired website visitors to still be able to understand the context of an image. All images on a page should contain a brief and relevant text alternative to what the image displays.
